Kola Ologbondiyan, a former National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has formally resigned his membership of the party.

In a letter addressed to the Chairman of the PDP, Okekoko Ward (09), Kabba/Bunu Local Government Area of Kogi State, Ologbondiyan expressed gratitude to the party’s leadership for the opportunities given to him to serve both the party and Nigeria.
He explained that after a careful review of his participation in the PDP, he arrived at the conclusion that it was necessary to exit the party for personal reasons.
“It is now imperative to bring your attention to the fact that I have reviewed my participation in the PDP and came to the conclusion that for personal reasons, I need to make my exit,” he wrote.
Ologbondiyan stated that his withdrawal from the PDP takes immediate effect. The letter was signed and dated December 5, 2025.
