The Abia State PDP 2023 governorship candidate, Sir Okey Ahiwe, has felicitated with the former Commissioner for Trade and Commerce, Chief John Okiyi Kalu (Nwandugbom), who marks his birthday anniversary today.
In his birthday message, Sir Ahiwe extolled Chief Okiyi Kalu as a man of unimpeachable integrity whose uncompromising sense of honour has been tested and validated multiple times within the crucibles of daunting leadership challenges.
In his words, “Nwandugbom JOK is a brilliant example of personal integrity. He has been vastly exposed across manifold spectra of life’s experiences.
He has served professionally at top managerial levels in public and private sector institutions.
His freedom of mind, principled loyalty to conviction, openness to learning, disposition to the values of interdependence and humility, qualifies him as one of the few men whose relentless pursuit of excellence has become consummated at a sublime departure point for perfection.
Through his delightful charisma, informed opinions on diverse issues of public interest and unblemished candour, JOK has risen to become a bank of inspiration for countless youths who revere him as a guiding compass.
Those who, on certain occasions, attempted to control public perception about him, often retreated to re-evaluate their own cognitive advancement.
