The Abia State PDP 2023 Governorship Candidate, Sir Okey Ahiwe has congratulated former Governor Okezie Ikpeazu on his appointment as Nigeria’s Ambassador to Spain by His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Ahiwe noted, in his congratulatory message, that Ikpeazu’s appointment signifies undisputed confidence in his capacity to deploy his experience as an astute administrator and his unique natural disposition of a diplomat to serve Nigeria’s best interests at the highest diplomatic levels.
According to him, “Given Ikpeazu’s trailblazing credentials especially his administrative proficiency, intellectual acuity and natural endowment with the temperament of a diplomat, President Tinubu has made a smart choice particularly at a time when Nigeria is expected to consolidate her ties with Spain while leading Africa’s interventions towards strengthening diplomatic and economic interests across Europe.”
Sir Ahiwe wished Dr. Ikpeazu success in his new role, praying that God would grant him sublime wisdom to deepen the impact of Mr. President’s diplomatic initiatives aimed at repositioning Nigeria’s image at the global space.
