The Member Representing Isiala Ngwa North State Constituency in the State House of Assembly, Chief Collins Ugochukwu Iheonunekwu has congratulated the State Governor, Dr. Alex Chioma Otti and indeed All Abians as they Mark the 34 years of the creation of Abia State.

In a release through the office of his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, the Lawmaker used the occasion to pay glowing tributes to the founding fathers of the State for their sacrifices and farsightedness, while recalling with nostalgia the journey of the State since its creation 34 Years ago, explaining that the emergence of Dr. Alex Otti as the Executive Governor of the State in 2023 have succinctly placed Abia on the steady part of rapid development, especially in the areas of provision of social basic amenities, Road infrastructure, security, Employment and economic revolution.

Ochake as fondly called by his admirers used the occasion to further call on all Abians both at home and in diaspora to join hands with the present administration towards achieving the initial philosophy for which Abia was created.

He noted with Joy that the Governor has restored the dignity of Abians, as the citizens now enjoy more respect and honor among the comity of friends, attributing it to the intentional and deliberate efforts of Dr. Alex Otti in changing the narrative.

On his midterm scorecard, Ochake thanked his constituents for their unbroken support and solidarity, and assured them that he is poised as ever to put smiles on their faces through Lawmaking, representation and oversight, and expressed optimism that he’ll leave office better than he met it.

He promised to vigorously sustain the various Pro–poor programmes he initiated on assumption of office two years ago–aimed at ameliorating the plights of his constituents, especially the windows and vulnerable families, maintaining that his target in ensuring that the ten political wards in Isiala Ngwa North Will feel his signature projects before the expiration of his tenure remains a sacrosanct.
