The Senior Special Assistant to Governor Alex Otti on National Assembly Matters, Emenike Vincent Onyembi, has held a strategic meeting with the Executive Secretary of the National Assembly Library Trust Fund (NALTF), Rt. Hon. Henry Nwawuba, to explore areas of collaboration between Abia State and the federal institution.
Onyembi disclosed this following his engagement with Nwawuba at the National Assembly, describing the meeting as part of his ongoing efforts to strengthen Abia State’s relationship with key federal institutions.
The National Assembly Library Trust Fund oversees the National Assembly Library and Resource Centre, a critical national repository for legislative research, historical records and institutional knowledge.
According to Onyembi, discussions at the meeting focused on identifying strategic opportunities through which Abia State could leverage the resources and expertise of the Trust Fund to promote evidence-based governance, improve policy formulation and strengthen institutional capacity.
He noted that such collaboration would provide Abia State with access to valuable legislative resources and knowledge capable of supporting effective governance and sustainable development.
The governor’s aide reaffirmed his commitment to building strong institutional partnerships between Abia State and relevant federal agencies, stressing the importance of maximising available national resources for the benefit of the people.
He added that the initiative aligns with Governor Alex Otti’s vision of strengthening governance, promoting institutional development and delivering meaningful benefits to the people of Abia State.
