Former Speaker of the Abia State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji, has pledged to commission at least six projects across Ikwuano, Umuahia North and Umuahia South Federal Constituency within his first 100 days in office if elected to the House of Representatives in 2027.
Orji made the promise while addressing supporters at his campaign office in Umuahia, the Abia State capital.
The former Speaker assured his supporters that each of the three local government areas making up the federal constituency would benefit from at least two projects within his first 100 days as a federal lawmaker.
He further declared his readiness to explore alternative funding arrangements, including borrowing, to ensure that his constituents enjoy meaningful development.
“If they don’t approve the fund, I will look for where to borrow money and do projects for my people,” Orji declared.
The former Speaker emphasised his determination to prioritise infrastructural development and deliver tangible dividends of democracy to the people of Ikwuano, Umuahia North and Umuahia South Federal Constituency.
