Barely 24 hours after publicly presenting and signing the Bende Prosperity Contract, the Labour Party candidate for Bende Federal Constituency, Dr. Chima Anyaso, on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, continued his engagement with ward-level party leadership across the constituency.

The engagement was held at the Chima Anyaso Campaign Office in Igbere, where Dr. Chima Anyaso met with representatives of the various ward structures as part of efforts to strengthen grassroots coordination and maintain direct communication with party leaders ahead of the 2027 election.

The meeting brought together ward leadership comprising Ward Chairmen, Councillors, Women Leaders, Youth Leaders, Abia Arise Coordinators, Onu-Ugu Women Leaders, Chima Anyaso Coordinators and Women Leaders from the respective wards.

The engagement provided an opportunity for the candidate and the ward leadership to discuss the campaign, listen to issues from the grassroots and strengthen coordination ahead of the 2027 House of Representatives election.

The scheduled sessions covered representatives from Umuimenyi/Nkpa, Ugwueke/Ezeukwu, Alayi, Item C and Item A, with each group allocated specific time for its engagement with the candidate and campaign leadership.

The first session, involving Umuimenyi/Nkpa, was scheduled for 10:00am to 11:10am, followed by Ugwueke/Ezeukwu from 11:20am to 12:30pm.

The Alayi leadership engagement followed from 12:40pm to 1:50pm, while representatives from Item C met with the campaign team from 2:00pm to 3:10pm.

The final session of the day was with the Item A leadership, held from 3:20pm to 4:30pm.

The Director General of the Chima Anyaso Campaign Organization, Pastor Okechukwu Dike, participated in the engagement alongside the Chairman of the Advisory Board, Ezeogo Emeka Onuoha.

Also present were the Director of Inter-Party Affairs, Hon. Imo Masco; Deputy Mayor of Bende and Deputy Director of the Campaign, Hon. Ngozi Anya; Deputy Chairman of the Labour Party in Abia State, Emma Alozie, the Director of Youth Mobilization Mazi Ugochukwu Nwankwo, Director of Grassroots Mobilization Apostle Micheal Ogbonnaya, the Director of Women Mobilization and other members of the campaign and party leadership.

The campaign organisation said the continued ward-level engagement is intended to strengthen communication between the candidate and grassroots structures while ensuring that ward leaders remain actively involved in the campaign process.
