The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the Ukwa Federal Constituency Chief Sam Nwogu has pledged to sustain quality leadership and attract increased Federal Government interventions to Ukwa East and Ukwa West if elected in 2027.
The candidate, who highlighted his achievements across the constituency, said his “scorecards are all over the nooks and crannies of Ukwa East and West,” insisting that his record would speak for him during the election.
He said he remained a progressive leader committed to empowering people around him, adding that his leadership had positively impacted his domestic staff and others within his sphere of influence.
According to him, his administration, if elected, would focus on attracting a stronger Federal Government presence to the constituency through targeted interventions for artisans, entrepreneurs, business starters, market women and youths.
He also promised to introduce and pursue youth empowerment programmes designed to create opportunities and improve the economic prospects of young people in the constituency.
The APC candidate further pledged to facilitate foreign postgraduate scholarship opportunities for qualified university graduates from the constituency, as part of efforts to strengthen human capital development.
He urged the people of Ukwa East and West to support his ambition, promising to build on his existing record and provide what he described as quality and progressive representation.
The statement was signed by the Chief Samuel Okezie Nwogu Campaign Media Team and dated October 5, 2026.
