The campaign organisation of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) senatorial candidate for Abia South, Dr. Kasarachi Michael Enyinna, has appointed Emperor Ogbonna Esq. as its campaign Spokesman.
The appointment, announced by the campaign organisation, is part of efforts to strengthen its media operations, public communication and grassroots engagement ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Emperor Ogbonna Esq. is expected to coordinate the campaign’s media relations, public communications and stakeholder engagement across the six Local Government Areas of Abia South — Aba North, Aba South, Obingwa, Ugwunagbo, Ukwa East and Ukwa West.
The campaign said the new spokesman has been mandated to communicate and advance Enyinna’s vision and political agenda across the senatorial district, while ensuring that the concerns and aspirations of constituents remain central to the campaign’s public engagement.
According to the campaign, the appointment reflects its commitment to transparent communication, grassroots mobilisation and effective engagement with stakeholders ahead of the 2027 senatorial election.
The Campaign Directorate described Emperor Ogbonna Esq. as bringing experience, commitment and an understanding of the aspirations of the people of Abia South to the new assignment.
“His mandate is clear – to articulate, defend and deliver the vision of purposeful leadership that Dr. Kasarachi Michael Enyinna represents for Abia South in 2027 and beyond,” the Campaign Directorate stated.
Enyinna, an entrepreneur and philanthropist, has been engaging party stakeholders and communities across Abia South as preparations for the 2027 election intensify.
The campaign has identified economic empowerment, infrastructure development, youth and women inclusion, healthcare and inclusive governance among the issues it intends to promote as part of Enyinna’s political agenda.
The Campaign Directorate called on party members, community leaders, stakeholders and residents of Abia South to support Emperor Ogbonna Esq. as he assumes his new communication role.
The appointment comes amid increasing political activity in Abia South as political parties and candidates step up mobilisation ahead of the 2027 general elections.
