The National Democratic Congress (NDC) Senatorial Candidate for Abia South, Dr. Kasarachi Enyinna, has intensified consultations with prominent business and political leaders across Nigeria as part of preparations for the 2027 general elections.
Enyinna, according to a statement on his political engagements, has held consultations with several respected figures, including business mogul Chief Arthur Eze; former Anambra State Governor, Dr. Chris Ngige; Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume; and Chairman of the Senate Committee on Capital Market, Senator Osita Izunaso.
The consultations, the campaign said, are aimed at gaining insights, building strategic relationships and exploring opportunities that could contribute to the development of Abia South if Enyinna is elected to the Senate in 2027.
The statement described the engagements as more than routine political courtesy visits, stressing that they form part of Enyinna’s preparations for public service.
According to the campaign, the NDC candidate believes effective leadership requires preparation, consultation, relationship-building and a clear vision before assuming office.
It said the warm reception, encouragement and goodwill extended by the leaders consulted had further strengthened the candidate’s resolve to pursue purposeful representation for the people of Abia South.

The campaign also expressed confidence that Enyinna’s understanding of business, governance and strategic partnerships would position him to attract greater opportunities and development initiatives to the senatorial district.
It said Abia South needs a representative who is adequately prepared to engage government, business and other stakeholders beyond political boundaries.
The campaign declared that the consultations marked the beginning of a broader journey towards what it described as “a new direction for Abia South.”
“Come 2027, Abia South will be represented with competence, courage, vision and purpose,” the statement said.
