He stressed the need for increased support for women through improved access to education, entrepreneurship, skills acquisition, healthcare and leadership opportunities.

“Women are a vital pillar of our communities. Their contributions to the growth and development of our society must be recognised, supported, and strengthened. I am honoured to celebrate with you today and to listen to your aspirations and concerns,” Orji said.

The APC candidate also called for unity and peaceful participation in the democratic process, noting that sustainable development requires collaboration among political leaders, women’s groups, traditional institutions, youths and other stakeholders.

He further reaffirmed his commitment to inclusive representation and people-oriented development, promising to continue supporting initiatives that promote the welfare and advancement of communities across the constituency.

The event attracted prominent personalities, including elder statesman and former Senator representing Abia Central Senatorial District, Senator Chris Adighije, alongside other dignitaries.
