Senator Austin Akobundu has extended his constituency-wide streetlight project to yet another major commercial hub in Abia Central.
From Isiala Ngwa North to Isiala Ngwa South; from Ikwuano to Osisioma; from Umuahia North to Umuahia South, the story has remained consistent across the six Local Government Areas of the senatorial district. The lights are up, and the latest beneficiary is Afor Ibeji Market in Umuahia South LGA.
As in previously covered communities, the installation has transformed Afor Ibeji Market, giving it a new, more welcoming ambience. The project has also enhanced security in and around the market and created the opportunity for traders to extend business hours into the night, thereby boosting sales. The overall impact is a significant improvement in the welfare of the people.
