A brown Toyota Sienna belonging to Evangelist G.N. Izuwa, wife of a traditional ruler from Nkpa Community in Bende Local Government Area of Abia State, has reportedly been stolen during a church service in Umuahia.

The incident occurred on Sunday, June 7, 2026, at the Assemblies of God Church, located at 5–8 Item Street, Umuahia, where the vehicle owner had attended worship.
According to information from family sources, the stolen vehicle is a brown Toyota Sienna bearing a Lagos registration number beginning with “LA 400.” The complete registration number was not immediately available at the time of this report.
The theft was discovered shortly after the church service ended, prompting immediate efforts by family members and concerned individuals to trace the vehicle and alert relevant security agencies.

Meanwhile, residents have expressed concern over the increasing rate of vehicle theft in Umuahia, particularly involving Toyota Sienna and Toyota Camry models, which have reportedly become frequent targets of car thieves in recent times.
Security authorities are yet to issue an official statement regarding the incident as investigations continue.
