The Ngwa National Association, USA Inc. (NNAUSA), under the leadership of Dr. Ugochukwu Agu, has announced the commencement of applications for the 2026 cohort of its Ngwa Apprenticeship and Skills Acquisition Program (NASAB).
The six-month apprenticeship initiative is designed to equip selected participants with practical skills, hands-on experience, and continuous support needed to establish and grow successful businesses.
Successful applicants will be attached to established businesses across four key sectors:
- Technology
- Culinary Arts (Catering Services)
- Building
- Fashion Design
According to the association, the application window opened on June 1, 2026, and will close on July 31, 2026.

Interested applicants can apply by visiting the NNAUSA website at www.nnausa.org, selecting Scholarships, and then choosing the NASAB section to create an account and complete the application process.
Applicants may also apply directly through the NASAB portal at www.nnausaskills.org.
Eligibility Requirements
- Applicants must be between 18 and 35 years old.
- Application is strictly open to indigenous youths of Ukwa and Ngwa extraction.
NNAUSA stated that the NASAB initiative remains committed to skills development, youth empowerment, and creating sustainable opportunities for Ukwa-Ngwa youths.
