The All Progressives Congress has postponed its House of Representatives Primary Election for the 2027 General Elections to Saturday, May 16, 2026.

In a statement issued on Thursday in Abuja by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, the party said all other previously announced primary election dates remain unchanged.
According to the revised timetable released by the party:
- House of Representatives Primary — Saturday, May 16, 2026
- Senate Primary — Monday, May 18, 2026
- State House of Assembly Primary — Wednesday, May 20, 2026
- Governorship Primary — Thursday, May 21, 2026
- Presidential Primary — Saturday, May 23, 2026
The APC said the adjustment affects only the House of Representatives primaries, while preparations for other primary elections continue as scheduled.
