The formal declaration ceremony is scheduled to hold on Friday, May 15, 2026, at his residence in Eziama Nteghauzor, Obingwa Local Government Area of Abia State, by 12 noon.
Widely known for his humanitarian activities and grassroots engagements, Ambassador Emmanuel Josiah has built a reputation as a philanthropist, entrepreneur, and advocate for community development. Through the Evansino Humanitarian Foundation and Evansino Global Outreach Fellowship, he has reportedly impacted the lives of many vulnerable individuals within and outside Abia State.
Beyond his business success in the exportation and importation of essential commodities, Josiah has continued to distinguish himself through acts of compassion and public service. His intervention during the Obingwa Youth Empowerment Summit, where he served as Chairman of the Travel Committee, remains one of the notable moments that earned him admiration across communities. During the period, he played a major role in facilitating the safe return of stranded young women from Libya back to Abia State.
Supporters and political associates describe him as a leader driven by youthful energy, compassion, and a deep commitment to the welfare of the people. Many believe his entrance into the race signals a fresh chapter for the Obingwa, Osisioma, and Ugwunagbo Federal Constituency as conversations around purposeful representation continue to dominate the political landscape ahead of future elections.
The declaration event is expected to attract political stakeholders, youth groups, community leaders, supporters, and residents from across the federal constituency.
With the theme, Service Beyond Borders, Leadership for Home, Ambassador Emmanuel Josiah’s camp says the aspiration is anchored on accountable leadership, people-oriented representation, and sustainable development for the constituency.
The Evansino Media Team calls on sons and daughters of Obingwa, Osisioma, and Ugwunagbo to come together in solidarity as the constituency prepares for what supporters describe as a new era of progressive and responsive representation.
