His Media Aide, Mr. Gabriel Aguwa, stated this yesterday while responding to questions from our reporter on Dr. Anyaso’s empowerment plans as the year 2025 draws to a close.

Aguwa stressed that Anyaso’s humanitarian interventions are neither seasonal nor politically motivated, noting that his commitment to human capital development has remained consistent over the years.

According to him, Anyaso is not focused on the politics of 2027, but on finding practical and sustainable ways to uplift people and communities.

“Anyaso is not chasing political power. His focus is on changing lives. This Christmas season alone, Dr. Chima will be distributing food items valued at over ₦500 million, bringing relief to thousands of families and providing lifelines to indigent households struggling to afford basic necessities during the festive period,” Aguwa said.

He added that the businessman’s compassion extends beyond immediate relief efforts.

Looking ahead to 2026 and beyond, Aguwa disclosed that Anyaso has expanded plans to construct residential houses for loyal followers and supporters who have stood by him throughout his public and political journey, despite the fact that he currently holds no political office.

Popularly known as Ofuji, Dr. Anyaso is widely associated with the philosophy “Giving is Living.” Those close to him say he once made a solemn covenant with God to dedicate 80 per cent of his earnings to humanitarian and charitable causes. Over the past six years, this pledge has translated into consistent and far-reaching acts of generosity.

Within this period, he said that Anyaso has reportedly donated over 428 vehicles to individuals across different walks of life, given business supports over two (2) billion naira to constituents, associates and others while about 366 beneficiaries are currently under his scholarship programme, receiving educational support to pursue their academic ambitions.

His philanthropic activities have also extended to the creative industry. Recently, his acquisition of two luxury Mercedes-Benz vehicles, reportedly worth hundreds of millions of naira, for two prominent Igbo musicians generated widespread public attention.

Associates say the gesture reflects his belief in recognising talent, loyalty and dedication, as he continues to identify and support creatives and devoted supporters.

Observers note that Dr. Anyaso’s growing influence is rooted not in political ambition, but in deliberate compassion, generosity and a desire to uplift others, reinforcing his belief that true fulfilment lies in giving back to humanity and serving God through service to people.
