Senator Austin Akobundu has congratulated Rear Admiral Chinonyerem Emmanuel Oji on his recent promotion in the Nigerian Navy.

Senator Akobundu who is also the Chairman (Ag) of the Senate Committee on Air Force described the newly promoted Rear Admiral Oji as a courageous and intelligent officer whose exemplary dedication to duty and commitment to fatherland is truly worthy of emulation. Such lofty attributes, according to Akobundu, have seen the Naval officer rise steadily through the ranks to this exalted height.
He extolled the Naval officer as a man who truly represents the diligence and excellence with which Abians are known globally and urged him to step into the new rank with even greater commitment and continue to take on responsibilities that stand him out as an officer of exceptional qualities.
Akobundu further expressed confidence in Rear Admiral Oji’s ability to continue working with wisdom, courage, and professionalism, saying that his vision and experience will undoubtedly inspire those around him as he keeps contributing to the continued success of the Nigerian Navy.
Finally, the Senator urged him not to rest on his laurels but that he should keep demonstrating those virtues that have earned him the well-deserved promotion.
