The Civil Defence, Corrections, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has announced important updates regarding its ongoing recruitment exercise.

According to a statement signed by Maj. Gen. (Rtd.) AM Jibril, Secretary to the Board, the recruitment portal — recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng — will officially close on Friday, November 7, 2025. Shortlisted applicants are advised to visit the portal to confirm their status.

The Board further revealed that all shortlisted candidates will participate in an online test scheduled to commence on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, and conclude on Wednesday, November 19, 2025. The test will be conducted exclusively online, and all previously allocated CBT centres have been discontinued.

Candidates who had earlier selected CBT centres are required to revisit the portal to choose an online test date and time. The link for the online test will be published on Tuesday, November 11, 2025.

Applicants are also reminded to ensure a stable internet connection and have the necessary devices ready for the test. They are urged to carefully follow all instructions on the examination slip to avoid disqualification.

The CDCFIB assured the general public of its commitment to a smooth, transparent, and credible recruitment process.
