At the launch yesterday, the senator announced that over 2,000 constituents would benefit from the programme, with each receiving a grant of ₦100,000. The initiative is targeted at supporting small-scale businesses, traders, youth, and women across the senatorial district, with the overall goal of fostering grassroots economic growth and development.
In addition to the grant scheme, Senator Abaribe has partnered with the Citizenship & Leadership Training Centre to provide entrepreneurship training for 160 constituents. The programme is designed to equip participants with modern business skills and position them to succeed in today’s competitive economic environment.
Observers say the dual approach—direct financial support and capacity building—underscores Senator Abaribe’s commitment to sustainable development and empowerment of his constituents.
