The Member representing Umuahia North State Constituency in the Abia State House of Assembly, Hon. Akaliro Kelechi Anderson, has officially dumped the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Anderson, who until now was the only elected APC lawmaker in the Assembly, announced his defection to the Labour Party (LP) on Tuesday.
His move is seen as a major political development in Abia State, further strengthening the Labour Party’s influence in the legislature while leaving the APC without representation in the Assembly.
