Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Benjamin Kalu, has revealed that his electoral success was driven by a commitment to be vocal and visible in the National Assembly, drawing inspiration from former Speaker and current Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila.

Speaking during an interview with Channels Television, Kalu credited Gbajabiamila for mentoring him to effectively carry out his duties in the House.
“I secured my constituency’s electoral victory with commitment to be as vocal and visible in the House as Femi Gbajabiamila. He mentored me for this role,” Kalu said.
The Deputy Speaker pledged to continue providing strong and effective representation for his constituency.
